[Bakuchiol] Oil

Bakuchiol, a powerful plant-based ingredient that’s perfect for sensitive skin and has anti-aging properties. Bakuchiol (pronounced ba-koo-heel) is an extract derived from the leaves and seeds of the babchi plant. It’s an herb commonly used in Indian Ayurvedic and Chinese medicines, as well as Tamil Siddha practices, to help heal, calm, and soothe the skin, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
For aging skin, bakuchiol has a stimulating effect on collagen production, reduces wrinkles and hyperpigmentation and can increase skin elasticity and strength. For acne, it controls the overproduction of bacteria on the skin, inhibits pro-inflammatory genes and enzymes, and reduces keratinization of the skin. Our products contain Sytenol A, it's a 99% Bakuchiol extract that can make reference to these results and claims.

Astaxanthin

Astaxanthin is one of nature’s most powerful antioxidants, it's 6000 times more potent than Vitamin C and 5000 times more effective than Vitamin E. Astaxanthin is derived from microalgae and boasts numerous health and beauty benefits. Astaxanthin increases skin moisture, moisture retention and elasticity. The skin becomes smoother and fine lines and wrinkles are reduced. Astaxanthin also has natural UV blocking properties that help protect the skin from sun-related damage such as dark spots on the skin. Clinical studies showed a visible reduction in hyperpigmentation, wrinkle formation and collagen breakdown.

Vitamin Q10 [Ubiquinone]

Rosa Canina [Rosehip] Fruit Oil

Rosehip oil—also known as rosehip seed oil—is a pressed seed oil that has been valued since ancient times for its many healing properties, which makes it especially helpful for those with sensitive skin. Rosehip is rich in natural vitamins and essential fatty acids that promote the skins internal hydration and protective processes to support healthy cellular turnover. Rosehip oil may also help reduce the appearance of scarring. One study revealed that linoleic acid can help reduce hyperpigmentation in certain scars. If you have flat, dark-colored scars left over from old acne breakouts, then rosehip could help.

Oenothera Biennis [Evening Primrose] Oil

Evening primrose oil is high in omega 3s, which are key in boosting cell turnover, are anti-inflammatory and skin softening. It is also rich in vitamin E, making it effective in reducing moisture loss and promoting cell regeneration. This oil is a superb emollient and skin nutrient, it is also high in essential fatty acids and extremely beneficial in the treatment of of eczema and other dry skin and scalp conditions. Linoleic acid is anti-inflammatory, so this oil can help with some dermatologic conditions, such as eczema.

Squalane [Olive]

The molecular composition of Squalane oil is so fine it is immediately absorbed deep into the dermal layers of the skin, without any oily residue. Olive Squalane is a pure, botanically derived Squalane produced by hydrogenation of the squalene source in olive oil. Despite popular belief, people with oily acne-prone skin would benefit greatly from using Squalane oil. Adansonia Digitata [Baobab] Seed Oil

The baobab tree has a tall, thick trunk and looks like it’s upside down with its roots in the air. This fruit tree grows in the southern countries of Africa, such as Malawi, Kenya, and Madagascar. A clinical trial found that baobab oil may help improve acne in some people. This is because it's high in linoleic acid, a kind of omega-3 fatty acid that has anti-inflammatory properties. For this reason, baobab oil may help reduce skin redness, irritation, and swelling to treat acne. Baobab oil may also help to treat eczema. The omega-3 fatty acids in this oil may help heal the skin’s barrier and lock in moisture when it’s used as a topical skin treatment. This can help heal or soothe an eczema rash.

Mauritia Flexuosa [Buriti] Fruit Oil

Rich in pro-vitamin A compounds, is a free radical-neutralizing and skin reviving agent, helps improve the firmness and elasticity of the skin. This oil helps to rebuild and rehydrate skin cells and improve the firmness and elasticity of the skin. Prunus Domestica [Plum] Seed Oil

It has a high content of oleic acid and linoleic acid and is rich in vitamin E. Its composition is similar to apricot and almond oil. Ribes Nigrum [Blackcurrant] Seed Oil

Blackcurrant seed oil works preventatively to help stabilize changes in the skin. It is an anti-dermatitis, anti-inflammation and anti-acne oil that may help to keep minor skin problems at bay by fighting bacteria. Black currant seed oil mainly consists of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that cannot be made naturally by your body but is a key component in your skin barrier.

Citrullus Lanatus [Kalahari melon] Seed Oil

Unlike other natural skincare oils, the oil from the seeds of the Kalahari melon contains 70% essential fatty acids and 2,800mg/kg of natural vitamin E. That is two and five times more than in argan oil. Due to this unique combination, the oil of the Kalahari melon is absorbed very quickly into the skin, leaving no greasy residue. It fights wrinkles, nourishes the skin and promotes elasticity. It does not clog pores or hair follicles, can prolong color protection and is therefore ideal for hair and scalp. Moisture is increased and dry, irritated skin is soothed. Due to the high linoleic acid content, this oil is particularly suitable for sensitive skin. The essential fatty acids help repair the skin barrier, which means the skin retains more moisture and prevents impurities. Kalahari Melon Oil is rich in linoleic acid, the fatty acid known for its skincare benefits thanks to its unmatched anti-inflammatory abilities.

Rubus Idaeus [Raspberry] Seed Oil

Offers moisturizing, occlusive, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits for skin. Furthermore, raspberry seed oil offers anti-aging benefits of improving skin elasticity, suppleness and flexibility, while softening and smoothing the look of wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin. Although it can’t be used as sun protection on its own as it doesn’t offer complete protection, studies have shown that it may absorb UV-B and UV-C rays.

Limnanthes alba [Meadowfoam] Seed Oil

Meadowfoam oil is supremely high in antioxidants, protecting against free radicals and slowing down transepidermal water loss in the skin. It is also highly anti-inflammatory, making it excellent for eczema or dermatitis. Meadowfoam seed oil is reminiscent in feeling on the skin and in its absorption behavior of jojoba oil. It causes a very silky, smooth, non-greasy skin feel.

Hippophae Rhamnoides fruit extract [Seabuckthorn]

It is ideal for use in wound-healing formulations, anti-ageing, blemished skin, damaged skin, general skin care, sun care, after-sun preparations and various skin caring and regenerating cosmetics. It is rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, both alpha- and beta-carotene, vitamins B1, B2, and B6, vitamin E, fatty acids and flavonoids, Omega 3, 6, 9 and rarest Omega 7 and about 190 bioactive compounds. Thanks to its rich antioxidant, fatty acid, and vitamin content, sea buckthorn oil can also help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It's an antioxidant and therefore has some anti-aging benefits.

Tocopherol [Vitamin E]

Vitamin E possesses superior antioxidant activity and protects skin cells from ultraviolet light, pollution and other elements that produce free radicals which damage skin by breaking down collagen and elastin, causing signs of aging. Vitamin E fights against and repairs the damage caused by these free radicals, enabling the skin’s structure to stay intact, while helping to reduce transepidermal water loss and strengthen the skin’s barrier function.
